From February 26 until March 2 Ventspils International Radio Astronomy Center organized a training week “Signal processing- an intensive course II”, which was held in the Ventspils University College, Latvia. The lectures consisted of the presentation of theory, alternated with examples and exercises.

The main topics of the training week will be:

Overview of “Signal processing- an intensive course I”

Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) & Fast Fourier Transform (FFT)

Spatial filtering (beamforming) & array processing

Multi-rate signal processing & array processing

The Training week will be led by 1 lecturer/expert, signal processing engineer from the Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy (ASTRON) Ronald de Wild.
